Rolfing®, Yoga, And movement

"'Agency' is the technical term for the feeling of being in charge of your life: knowing where you stand, knowing that you have a say in what happens to you, knowing that you have some ability to shape your circumstances."

—Bessel A. Van Der Kolk, Author of 'The Body Keeps the Score'

Kat at clinic - About Kat.jpg

Hi! I'm Kat. I help people cultivate a sense of agency in their bodies and show up more fully in their lives.

I live and work in Portland, Oregon, where I support clients through manual therapy in my Rolfing® practice, offer personal training and strength coaching, lead weekly yoga classes, teach workshops, and host retreats

I offer free resources regularly through my newsletter, and try to post thoughtful things on instagram (social media is hard, did you know?). I'd love to be connected. If you have inquiries related to my offerings, please feel free to email me directly

Experience bodywork that creates lasting change in your felt experience.

Rolfing® is a form of manual therapy that helps you get out of pain and get back to life.  As a Certified Rolfer®, my approach to bodywork focuses on relationships between myofascial and skeletal structures as well as the body's nervous system to get at the root cause of discomfort and improve your ability to move with ease, find support in gravity, adapt to changing demands, and experience greater freedom in your body.

Explore yoga through a fun, functional, accessible, and inclusive lens.

As a certified yoga instructor, I bring a trauma-informed approach to my yoga teaching. Sourcing from more than 1,000 collective hours of functional anatomy training, and 600 hours of education related to holding space and guiding others in embodied movement, I offer yoga instruction designed to deepen your practice both on and off the mat.

Movement is our birthright. It's essential that we not only move often, but that we move well in order to feel our best. Unfortunately, many of us don't know where to start or how to optimize our movement plan for our unique bodies. That's why I offer personal training— including workout programming and private coaching sessions—for clients of my Rolfing practice. â€‹

*Please Note*
My personal training practice is at-capacity, and I am unable to accept new clients at this time.
